TEC provides engineering services for the design of public and private roadways.  TEC has worked on Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP) projects and traffic safety improvement projects, as well as countless roadway widening and roadway extension projects.  TEC utilizes AutoCAD 3D® computer aided design for plan and profile generation.  This powerful tool allows us to easily make adjustments during the development of the design for optimization of geometry and quantities/costs.

TEC designed traffic widening, a planting strip and separated sidewalk,  as well as center turn lane and bike lane additions to NE Inglewood Hill Road near the center of Sammamish, Washington.

Over a mile of roadway in hilly terrain was designed by TEC for a 90-lot plat project in Renton, Washington.  AutoCAD Civil 3D® was used to efficiently lay out the plan and profile, and generate earthwork quantities.

The 40-acre Northwest University campus in Kirkland, Washington has many roadways, both public and private.  Pictured here is NE 58th Street improvements, on campus, designed by TEC.
